The calendar is now rolled to July, it’s that time of year when you need to start preparing your Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) return using IRS Tax Form 2290. This is an annual tax reported on heavy motor trucks operated on public highways. All truckers, truck owners, owner-operators, trucking companies who own and operate heavy motor vehicles with a gross weight of 55,000 pounds or more, estimated to drive 5,000 miles or more on public highways must file IRS Form 2290 and pay the annual federal excise tax in full.

Hello there, all Hardworking Truckers, We admire and owe ya’ll as you continuously strive to contribute towards enhancing our nation’s economy. We realize that nothing ever comes to one that is worth having, except as a result of hard work. Without Truckers where would we be all? Hungry & plain. It’s a high time now to e-file your Form 2290 for the Period beginning July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018. Pre-filing lets you have priority among others during the time of tax application approval done by the Internal Revenue Service. Did you know how many tax returns the IRS processes every year…? Millions! You can’t predict the exact stand of your tax returns amongst the millions of tax returns unless you set a priority note on your tax return in particular, and this process of setting up a priority is not possible unless you Pre-File your tax returns ahead the tax deadline.
