Today, we thank you, we salute you, we honor you Veterans!

In its 237 years, the United States has been involved in a dozen major wars to defend our nation, preserve our freedom and democracy, and serve our national interests. The major conflicts include the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Mexican War, the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, and the Wars against Terrorism, including the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our armed forces have gone into harm’s way many other times, too.

War makes a great plot for book or movie, but few people have actually had to go through the pain, and suffering that it can bring upon a human being.  Veterans are those who have served in order to honor and protect our nation. As these individuals boldly practiced their beliefs in freedom, they inadvertently rewrote history, and we as Americans honor these patriots who were willing to give the ultimate sacrifice. Veterans Day is the day that we set aside to honor those who served, but one day does not cover all the bloodshed. The day is not enough to show the appreciation which is due to the countless number of heroic men and women. The American people should do more to show respect to their veterans.

The biggest sacrifices veterans have made for their country do not just happen on the battlefield. They happen quietly, without fanfare, without recognition. They happen in small homes and living rooms, with only those left behind as witnesses. Everything a veteran must do is a sacrifice, from leaving behind their lives, to stepping onto the battlefield. The sacrifice of time is just as important as the bravery shown in war, and oftentimes much more difficult. These sacrifices are what make veterans special.

Our veterans are special for us because they alone understand the true cost of freedom, and are willing to pay that price so that our posterity may enjoy the benefits of that freedom, and so our country can continue its legacy far beyond our imaginings We strongly believe that this great saying remains as an interchangeable truth even for Truckers who get on the road; leaving their lovable family behind to serve our nation’s needs despite of weather challenges. Hence, we believe they deserve the same respect too.

As we take time this week to honor America’s veterans, we always think about how we can extend our gratitude. So we always stay focused on leading our truckers in the right way by educating them their appropriate tax deadlines and we always would want our truckers to say “Staying late or Missing deadlines  is not on their watch”!

At Truckdues.com with sincere gratitude and pride from the bottom of our hearts! We thank you for your great efforts, the way you protect us makes us feel safer and at ease.  We salute you and wish you celebrate this day dedicated for our heroes, Veterans!
