Every trucker must report form 2290 truck taxes in advance for the tax year during the beginning of the tax period. Generally, the tax period starts around the first of July and lasts till the end of next June. Therefore, truckers and trucking taxpayers must submit their truck tax reports and pay the tax dues before the deadline to get schedule 1 receipt. The last date to file the form 2290 tax reports and pay the 2290 tax payments is the end of August every year.
